Sony TV has revolutionised the LCD market with its innovative and stylish sets that have taken entertainment to new heights. This Japanese company is a trusted brand all over the world manufacturing a host of consumer goods in the field of electronics. Sony has made a mark in the Indian market also with a wide variety of high end products.

LCD TVs are sleek and crafted stylishly that occupy minimal space in your homes. High Definition 3D image and superior sound quality are the hallmark of LCD TVs. There are a lot of big brands like LG, Samsung, Philips, Onida, Videocon and Panasonic to name a few in the LCD TVs segments in India but Sony is a class apart.

Sony’s latest avatar is the Sony Bravia LCD TV that has 24 variants in the NX, EX & BX series having screen sizes from 22 to 60 inches. It is based on LED technology and claims to have an innovative monolithic design. This model has surpassed others in the segment and has entirely changed the whole concept of viewing television. It gives sharper and brighter picture quality unique in its own way.

The ‘revolutionary BRAVIA Engine 3’, Motionflow technology, image blur reduction, MPEG Noise Reduction and Intelligent Picture plus are some of the features of Sony TVs. These TVs are also fitted with internet widgets to access various social networking as well as other sites so that one can stay connected to the world all the time.

LCD TV prices in India vary according to the screen size. The smallest screen size can cost anything from Rs 8000. If one wants to go for the conventional 22 inches the range starts from Rs 21000 and for a bigger screen size sky can be the limit depending upon the company manufacturing it. The bigger the screen size, the more you have to shelve out of your pocket.

With the advancement in technology and newer features being invented, LCD prices never seem to fall. The name leading in the price segment is none other than Sony. Sony LCD TV prices are on the higher side but the company justifies its high tag as it claims that its products are the best and way ahead of its time. With so many companies wooing Indian consumers, the road for Sony is not easy. The company indeed has to face a tough competition if it wants to make inroads into the living rooms of Indian middle class homes. But with a make, believe attitude of Sony, one can never say when it is able to turn the tide.
